SINGAPORE, 16 June – MPL Singapore Season 7 concluded today with defending champions, NIP Flash, speed-running their way to the title! They overcame long-time rivals, RSG Singapore, in four straight games to secure the lion's share of the SGD 100,000 prize pool. They also earned the right to represent Singapore at the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024, held at the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where a life-changing ~SGD 4,000,000 (USD 3,000,000) prize pool awaits.

Local esports goes global NIP Flash was buoyed by the team's new strategic partnership between Singapore-based, Team Flash, and renowned Swedish esports organisation, Ninjas in Pyjamas (NIP). This partnership marks the first local team to partner with a major global esports organisation, and is set to elevate Singapore's presence in the global esports arena.

Speaking about his ambitions to represent Singapore on the international stage, NIP Flash Captain, Yeo "Diablo" Wee Lun, said: "Last year, I was kicked out on the first day of the tournament. But this time, we don't plan to do that. We are aiming to make it to top 4!"

Joseph Yeo, General Manager, NIP Flash, confidently asserted: "We will do our best [at MSC 2024]. We have the best Singaporean and import MLBB athletes in our team. If we cannot go far internationally, no other team in Singapore can!"
