MPL Cambodia Season 7 launches this weekend – here's what you need to know

PHNOM PENH, CAMBODIA, 29 August  Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League (MPL) Cambodia is back for its 7th iteration this weekend, starting 31 August 2024. Eight teams will vie to fight for the kingdom, take home the biggest share of the prize pool worth USD 40,000, and get a chance to represent the country in the upcoming M6 World Championship.

MPL KH Season 7 will witness fiercer competitions with women players making their historic debut in the league and major revamps on the team's rosters. Female player TEGAMI who made a splash during the recent MLBB Women’s Invitational (MWI) 2024, will now be part of CFU Gaming, while VCT.LANQQ will join Flash KH, both as Junglers. Newly-formed team Galaxy Legends will also make their entry this season and will be fielded by star player Aykii alongside Filipino player Cadenza.

See You Soon introduces a revamped roster, including import Coach Flysolo from Malaysia’s Team TODAK. After one season with China’s Xianyou Gaming, prodigal son CHMA returns to bring his experience and learnings to Team Max. Meanwhile, Filipino Gold Laner Super Red joins PRO Esport. 

The tournament's Regular Season will run for five weeks and will be held in Legend Cinema, Olympia Mall. Fans who wish to see their idols on-site can purchase tickets via https://www.legend.com.kh/movies/HO00001736 or on-site ticketing booths.

This season, popular Indonesian instant noodle brand Indomie joins the pool of sponsors as an Esports Partner. Sting, ABA Bank, Tecno, Smart, and Legend Cinema are the official tournament sponsors.
