Daniel Chew, Head of Esports for Singapore at MOONTON Games, said: "Singapore exceeded all expectations at the recent MSC 2024, outperforming all regions outside the Big Three MLBB powerhouses of Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines. All eyes will be on Singapore for Season 8 as we have proven to be a small but mighty contender. This success is thanks in part to the support of McDonald's Singapore, along with newcomers JD Sport and Rohto, who are uplifting the esports community and driving Singapore's only professional esports league forward. An intense season is up ahead with our talented local players striving to emerge champions and represent Singapore at the M6 World Championship in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia."

Lee Jian Ming, Founder and Managing Director of Zenway Productions, said: "McDonald's Singapore remains as the league's steadfast partner, and we're thrilled to welcome Rohto and JD Sports to the MPL Singapore Season 8 family. These partnerships highlight Singapore's burgeoning esports scene, and we're excited to witness another another action-packed season. Defending local champion's, NIP Flash's, recent top four finish at MSC 2024 demonstrates that Singapore has the potential to become a dominant force in professional MLBB esports scene. This is the vision that MPL Singapore has believed in since Day 1 and we're committed to working with our partners to support our local esports scene and esports athletes."

The collaboration has already made a significant impact with the successful integration of Chicken McCrispy® in Seasons 6 and 7 of MLBB, where it played a key role in reaching out to the community. Both seasons saw the Chicken McCrispy®  enhance the gaming experience and engage fans in new ways.
