MOONTON Games, the global video game company behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), together with Esports Integrated (ESI), the national initiative under the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Malaysia, KBS), jointly announce the launch of the Guru Juara MOONTON Masterclass, a pioneering programme designed to equip primary school teachers in Malaysia with digital game management skills and innovative learning strategies for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education.
This programme is organised in collaboration with ESI and supported by the Selangor State Public Library Corporation (Perbadanan Perpustakaan Awam Selangor, PPAS) together with Selangor state primary school teachers.
The announcement was made yesterday (11 September) during a press conference at the Sri Putra Hall in Bukit Jalil, the Regular Season venue for the upcoming Season 16 of the MLBB Professional League (MPL) Malaysia, the nation's most popular esports league. The league recently confirmed a bold shift towards an "enhanced franchise format" next season to open new pathways for talent development, commercial growth, and deeper fan engagement.
Championing Digital Literacy and STEM in Schools
With digital platforms playing an increasingly central role in the lives of students, the Guru Juara MOONTON Masterclass is designed to enhance modern-day digital engagement between students and teachers in school. The half-day workshops provide teachers with hands-on guidance in two core areas:
Digital Game Competition Management Skills
Teachers will be introduced to effective methods for organising structured training and game competitions in schools while cultivating a healthy esports ecosystem for students.
TinkerCad 3D Design Introduction
A practical session to upskill teachers on using the TinkerCad platform to guide students in exploring 3D design skills—encouraging creativity and alignment with STEM education objectives.
A New Pathway for Teacher Engagement and Student Development
The Guru Juara MOONTON Masterclass is more than a training session—it is a strategic investment in the digital readiness of Malaysia's educators. Participating teachers will receive an official certificate co-signed by MOONTON Games, and ESI.
The official Guru Juara MOONTON Masterclass certificate will empower teachers to nominate student teams to compete in state-level tournaments such as the upcoming Selangor State Under-12 MLBB Tournament in December 2025.
