The wait is over! Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Project NEXT update is here, bringing a completely revamped map through the Annual Map Change. This season promises fresh challenges that will push every gamer's strategy and skill to the next level and will introduce impactful in-game updates, including the arrival of the newest Marksman hero, "Obsidia."
The Annual Map Change feature introduces four (4) new in-game maps that will shake up the gameplay and bring more diverse battlefield experiences. These new maps are randomly available and will be determined during the hero selection phase. This way, teams' hero drafting skills will be challenged, and players will be forced to adjust their picks depending on the maps, namely Broken Walls, Dangerous Grass, Flying Cloud, or Expanding Rivers.
Step into the Abyss: Obsidia has risen
#MLBBNEXT2025 Season 38 introduces its newest hero, Obsidia, risen from the ruins of a forgotten age. Known as the Sovereign of Dark's End, she stands apart from all other marksmen. Her power lies in harnessing Bone Energy, which transforms into Bone Shards. Upon attacking an enemy, she releases all accumulated Bone Shards at once, each one homing in on her target to amplify her assault. The longer her foes dare to face her, the more punishing her Basic Attacks become. Obsidia tethers herself to enemies hit by her Ultimate Hunt of Bone, which puts her in close quarters with her enemies.

Flex your milestones with the new Achievement System
The Achievement System has been revamped with the introduction of new career achievements. Depending on playstyle and match performance, players can now unlock multiple tiers of prestigious flairs that are a true mark of mastery and skill. The all-new Wall of Honor offers a dedicated space for players to proudly display their hard-earned milestones for everyone to see.
This patch also enhances gameplay with refined controls and responsiveness, shaped by feedback from the MLBB community. Updates include improved "Red-flash" visual feedback for combat hits that makes damaged targets more visible, and enhanced controlled effect visuals that make stun/silence effects clearer.
