Phnom Penh, 18 June – ONIC ID stormed their way through the Grand Finals of MSC 2023 for the crown! Held at AEON Mall Mean Chey to a crowd of over 1,200, ONIC ID fought against Blacklist International in a best-of-seven (BO7) series, with the former taking home the highly coveted international championship and walking away with a lion's share of USD 300,000. This marks the second time that ONIC ID has taken the championship home, having scored their first MSC trophy back in 2019.

ONIC ID made quick work of Blacklist International in the first match, showcasing their edge with BUTSSS distracting the team with his Uranus, not allowing them to farm. Blacklist tried to manuvere their way back, but were outperformed by ONIC ID's sheer dominance - leading to a final score of 2-4.

The tournament also hit a new peak-concurrent viewership of 3,650,822, surpassing last year's record of 2,800,213. The Grand Finals between Blacklist International and ONIC ID was the highest viewed match, with majority of the viewers based in Indonesia.
