
This Ramadan, MOONTON Games is giving millions of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) players an opportunity to turn gameplay into generosity. MLBB has committed IDR 200 million to support more than 300 children across Indonesia through its 2026 "Golden Month" campaign, running from 20 February to 15 March 2026
The funds will support children battling cancer and underprivileged youth through partnerships with three cancer foundations and one Jakarta-based orphanage. Assistance includes medical support, school supplies, basic necessities, and communal iftar programs.
This is the largest Ramadan charity initiative in MLBB Indonesia's history. In 2025, MLBB donated IDR 100 million, supporting 130 children. The 2026 commitment doubles the donation value and almost triples beneficiary reach, reflecting both the growth of the MLBB community and the platform's expanding social footprint.
From in-game actions to real-world impact

On 21 February, MLBB launched "BUKBAR Berbagi Kebaikan", an in-game initiative that converts player participation into real-world donations. Through the in-game "Berburu Kemenangan Bareng", players earn points by playing matches, watching videos, and completing in-game activities. MLBB then converts those points into donation funds, allowing millions of players to contribute to the charity pool.

Charity livestreams rally Indonesia's MLBB community
In addition to in-game contributions, MLBB launched a series of charity livestreams featuring prominent Indonesian esports personalities and entertainers.


The first session on 21 February featured Setiawan Ade and Dean KT, who rallied their audiences through competitive matches while encouraging live donations. The momentum continued on 28 February with a second stream headlined by RRQ Hoshi's Lemon and XINNN, two of Indonesia's most recognisable MLBB figures, whose appearance drew strong fan engagement and further boosted contributions to the charity pool. Together, both streams raised IDR55,120,234 in donations, combining entertainment with collective giving.
The series culminates in a flagship celebrity showcase, "BUKBAR LIVE: Ngabuburit Wars", hosted by Opick and Syifa. The special 5v5 matches will feature M7 finalists, Nino and Hujime, from Alter Ego, alongside prominent esports personalities and creators, including Rivaldi Fatah (R7), Setiawan Ade, Markocop, Celiboy, Winona Karamoy, and Bachrul Alam. Beyond entertainment, the livestreams function as direct donation channels, turning Ramadan viewing moments into collective giving experiences. By bringing together professional players, creators, and celebrities, MLBB aims to transform community enthusiasm into tangible social impact.
Last year, MLBB collaborated with creators such as Oura Gaming and Setiawan Ade, generating approximately USD 15,000 in donations for 100 orphaned children in Jakarta. This year's initiative expands both scale and beneficiary reach.

Golden Month has become one of MLBB Indonesia's annual signature initiatives. Beyond gameplay content, it reflects the platform's growing social footprint in one of its largest markets.
