New rivalries will anchor Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Continental Championships (MCC) with its Season 7 return. Established titans in Team Spirit and Virtus.pro enter the season with refreshed rosters, while newcomers, Team Yandex and Aura Farmers, join as formidable contenders. Starting 10 April, these shifts will play out as eight of Eastern Europe and Central Asia's (EECA) top Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) teams compete for the title and the right to represent the region at the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) at 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC).
A new era of competition unfolds
Reigning champions Team Spirit return, aiming to defend their dominance as the first team in MLBB Esports history to win six consecutive league titles. Their legacy extends beyond the region, with consecutive top-four finishes at the M5 and M6 World Championships, cementing their reputation on the global stage. Anchored by a seasoned core lineup, Team Spirit has welcomed the addition of Zaur "zaur egoist" Magomadov (Jungler), adding fresh firepower to an already formidable roster.
They will face longtime rivals Virtus.pro, two-time league runners-up who made international waves by winning the MSC at EWC 25 Wild Card on their international debut. This season, Virtus.pro enters the Land of Dawn with two new members, Maxim "Nagib" Dudich (Roamer) and Sergey "Marl" Finashev (Jungler), bringing renewed strength to their pursuit of championship glory.
Joining this season are newcomers Team Yandex, the esports division of one of the region's largest technology organisations, and Aura Farmers, who qualified for the Regular Season from Team Spirit Academy Black. Their entry introduces new contenders into MCC Season 7, as established teams face a reshaped competitive field.
Ajay Jilka, Head of Esports - Eastern Europe & Central Asia, Türkiye, and Western Europe at MOONTON Games, said: "This season, with roster changes in established teams and new contenders joining the mix, MCC is more competitive than ever. The emergence of teams like Aura Farmers, coming through from an academy system, is a strong signal that talent development in EECA is progressing and beginning to feed into the top-level. This season underscores how deliberate ecosystem development through community and third-party tournaments can accelerate a region's growth. As we roll out our 2026 MLBB Esports Roadmap and the five-region structure, EECA will continue to be a key part of the global ecosystem. The region is proof of how our investments in emerging markets can build strong, sustainable ecosystems."
EECA is home to one of the most active third-party MLBB Esports ecosystems globally, with a robust network of community-led and organiser-driven tournaments supporting year-round competition. In 2025, more than US$400,000 in prize pool was offered across these third-party tournaments, creating consistent opportunities to strengthen the region's talent pipeline. These efforts continue to accelerate the development of EECA's competitive scene and reinforce its position as a growing force within the global MLBB Esports ecosystem.
League title and global glory on the line

Eight teams will compete during the Regular Season for six Playoff slots and a US$40,000 prize pool. The Regular Season runs from 10 April to 17 May over six weekends in a Best-of-Three (BO3) format. The top two teams will advance directly to Playoffs Stage 2 Upper Bracket, while the remaining four teams begin in Playoffs Stage 1.
Playoffs Stage 1 takes place from 30 to 31 May, with the third to sixth placed teams competing to claim the final two Upper Bracket spots. The first round of the Upper Bracket will also be played on 31 May. Playoffs Stage 2 runs from 6 to 7 June. On 6 June, the Lower Bracket Semi-Finals and Upper Bracket Final will take place. The season will conclude on 7 June with the Lower Bracket Final and the Grand Final, determining the next MCC champions and the region's next international representatives. All Playoff matches will be played in a BO5 format, except for the Grand Final, which will be a BO7 showdown.
MCC Season 7's champions and runners-up will represent EECA at MSC at EWC 26, competing for a US$3 million prize pool. This season's roster changes and new entrants reflect MCC's shifting competitive landscape as teams compete for the region's two international slots. More than just regional champions, EECA's representatives will be tasked with proving the region's standing on the international stage as one of MLBB Esports' top-four powerhouses.
