Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Esports unveiled as the first competitive title for the Esports World Cup

SINGAPORE, 23 January – Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is set to be one of the competitive titles featured at the Esports World Cup, with the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid Season Cup (MSC) and the MLBB Women's Invitational (MWI) venturing outside of Southeast Asia for the very first time in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

With over 1.46 billion installations and a monthly active user base of more than 110 million, the popular multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) title will showcase professional esports teams spanning from 14 international regions and over 35 countries vying for the largest ever prize pool in MLBB competitive history - USD 3,000,000. MSC 2024 will also feature the Wild Card format, that was showcased in the M5 World Championship last year. The country allocation for the Main Stage are as follows:

MWI 2024 will also feature an expanded prize pool of USD 500,000, with 12 participating regions and countries from Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia & Singapore, China, the Middle East & North Africa, Eastern Europe & Central Asia, the Mekong Region (Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam), Brazil, and North America.

MSC 2024 will be held between 1 - 14 July. More details on the dates for MWI and the tournament format for the respective competitions will be announced later.
