The race through the historic Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Mid Season Cup (MSC) at 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC) Wild Card has reached its first major checkpoint! FUT Esports (FUT) and The HUNS Esports (HUNS) have topped their respective groups to earn direct qualification to the Wild Card Semi Finals.
The Group Stage also saw Victory Song Gamers' (VSG) campaign come to an end after the team finished fifth in Group A. The remaining qualified teams will now move into Phase 2 on Day 3, where MSC's first cross-group gauntlet format awaits. With elimination pressure in every match, teams must fight through the bracket to keep their hopes alive for the final MSC at EWC 26 Main Stage slot.

A note on the MSC at EWC 26 Tiebreaker:
Since three teams in Group A finished the Group Stage tied on ranking points, the standings were determined in accordance with the Official Rulebook's tiebreaker—ultimately, it was the total time it took to win their games that proved the key differentiator.
The official tiebreaker is as follows:
If the ranking of the tied teams cannot be determined by ranking points, the tied teams will be ranked by head-to-head record.
If the ranking of the tied teams cannot be determined by head-to-head record, the tied teams will be ranked by winning time (only the time of winning games)—the less time the team used, the higher ranking the team is.
If the ranking of the tied teams cannot be determined by winning time (only the time of winning games), the tied teams will be ranked by the shortest single-game winning time, the less time the team used, the higher rank the team is.
If the shortest single-game winning time (only the time of winning games) are still the same, then the longest single-game winning time will be compared. The less time the team used, the higher rank the team is.

Day 3 sets the stage for high-pressure elimination matches
The MSC Wild Card continues today on Day 3, with Phase 2. In this phase, the fourth-placed teams from each group (NM and KOG) will first face the third-placed teams (MGLZ and SnR). The winners of those matches will then advance to challenge the second-placed teams (FLCM and A7).
The final winners from each side of the gauntlet will progress to Phase 3, where they will face FUT and HUNS tomorrow in the Wild Card Semi Finals. The Semi Finals will be played in a cross-group, best-of-three (BO3) single-elimination bracket. The last two teams standing will then face off for the highly coveted final slot in the MSC at EWC 26 Main Stage.
