Twisted Minds wins first MPL MENA title to set up M Series debut at the M6 World Championship

RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA, 25 October – Twisted Minds secured their first-ever Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) MENA title after defeating Geekay Esports 4-1 in the Grand Finals. Their victory bagged them USD 30,000 and the opportunity to represent the region at the M6 World Championship. This will mark their first appearance at an M Series, the flagship international Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports tournament. Twisted Minds had previously represented MENA at the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024 x Esports World Cup in July, where they fell to stronger opposition in the Group Stage.

Twisted Minds EXP Laner, Ayman "Sanji" Alqarni, was named the Finals Most Valuable Player (FMVP) after impressive use of the heroes X.Borg, Phoveus, Cici, and Edith. He pockets USD 2,000 for his performance.

Second-place Geekay Esports took home USD 13,500 and will represent MENA at the M6 Wild Card. This marks a pivotal moment for the Saudi Arabian esports organisation; the M6 Wild Card will see the team debut on the international competitive MLBB competitive stage. 

The M Series is a world-class, globalised championship that represents the pinnacle of competitive MLBB gaming. The sixth edition will be hosted in Malaysia, commencing with the Wild Card Stage, where eight teams will compete for a single slot on the Main Stage. The Main Stage will bring together the world's strongest 16 MLBB teams – including the Wild Card winner – to compete for a USD 1 million prize pool. 

MPL MENA Season 6 was organised by MOONTON Games and supported by the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) and Global Presenting Partner, Qiddiya. The sixth edition of the region's premier MLBB esports event brought together the region's top eight teams to compete for a USD 100,000 prize pool. The Grand Finals were held on 19 October at the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF) Arena in Riyadh.
