MPL Malaysia is supported by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), Rakan Muda, Esports Integrated (ESI), the Malaysia Esports Federation (MESF), and Persatuan Stadium Malaysia (PSM).

MPL Malaysia is committed to fostering innovation and excellence in mobile gaming—values that dovetail with Infinix's strategy of delivering cutting-edge technology to empower gamers. We're excited to push the boundaries of mobile esports together."

MPL Malaysia Season 15: All You Need To Know
The Season 15 battleground will be at Stadium Juara, the Stadium of Champions. It represents Malaysia's opportunity to regroup and improve after a bittersweet 2024, where the nation enjoyed its best year on the international esports stage after securing top honours at the MLBB Mid Season Cup (MSC) 2024, crowning its first back-to-back MPL Malaysia champion, and winning the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) event at the World Esports Championship (WEC) 2024, but ultimately failed to secure the M6 World Championship trophy, the pinnacle of MLBB Esports, on home soil last December.
The new season marks a new brand proposition for MPL Malaysia: that of "Pentas Kebanggaan", the proud MLBB Esports Malaysia stage where aspiring local talent can rise up, compete, and bring glory to their name. "Pentas Kebanggaan" is an expression for the entire MPL Malaysia ecosystem—players, coaching staff, casters, content creators, fans, everyone!—to unite through the shared love for MLBB esports.
Season 15 ushers in new looks for two teams. Selangor Red Giants unveiled a partnership with renowned European esports organisation, OG Esports. Following this first-of-its-kind partnership, the defending champions will compete as Selangor Red Giants OG Esports (SRG). Red Esports has also been reintroduced as Aero.
Additionally, the league welcomes two new teams—Ocean Black and DX Soul—who were promoted from the MLBB's developmental league, the MLBB Academy League Malaysia (MALMY).
Season 15 will return with the same two-staged format—comprising the Regular Season followed by the Playoffs. The Regular Season will feature 10 of the nation's top MLBB teams who will compete every week from 19 April to 25 May. The Regular Season will follow a single round-robin format, with each match to be a Best-Of-Three (BO3).
The match opener on 19 April will be a rematch of last season's Grand Finals, SRG versus Team Vamos. Both teams will be raring to prove themselves after the M6 World Championship.
The top six teams from the Regular Season will advance to the Playoffs. This season, the Playoffs will be split across two phases—taking place across two weekends in Season 15. Phase One of the Playoffs will run from 30 to 31 May, while Phase Two will be held from 14 to 15 June.
Hao Zhen said: "We revised the Playoffs format as an experiment—to further improve the fan experience. In previous seasons, the Playoffs would take place from Thursday to Sunday; this has led to some fans not being able to attend the weekday matches due to commitments such as school and work. We believe the new format aligns more closely to our league's brand of being an inclusive and family-friendly community."
MPL Malaysia teased the launch of a merchandise line, a first for the league.
The announcements were made during the "Infinix Iftar Night 2025: Powering the Future with MPL Malaysia" media event at Royal Bedouin restaurant in Sri Hartamas.
