MOONTON Games, the global video game company behind Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), has announced a landmark partnership with Redd+E, appointing the esports and entertainment media agency as the authorised reseller of broadcast rights for all MLBB Esports intellectual properties in Southeast Asia and for the M7 World Championship (M7), MOONTON Games' flagship international tournament. This partnership is a first for MLBB Esports and reflects the growing commercial value and the increasing recognition of MLBB as a premier, mature, and global sports entertainment property.

The partnership will leverage Redd+E's deep roots in Southeast Asia and established global media network to establish a sustainable and scalable broadcast rights model that expands the reach and commercial value of MLBB Esports worldwide. The Singapore-based media agency has a strong track record working with partners such as the International Paralympic Committee, BLAST Premier, Esports Insider, Badminton Asia, TVRI, Astro/eGG Network, W-Sports Channel, and Women's Tennis Association (WTA).

The partnership was officially unveiled today (13 November) during a press conference held on the sidelines of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Malaysia Season 16 Playoffs at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), the largest agro park in Asia.

Pioneering A New Era For Esports Broadcasting

This partnership will see Redd+E serve as the authorised broadcast rights reseller for all MPLs in Southeast Asia—in Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Singapore—and the M7 in January 2026, making the first broadcast rights collaboration of its kind for MOONTON Games. Significantly, the partnership represents the pioneering of a commercial model that mirrors the maturity of traditional sports entertainment, while staying true to the community-driven spirit that defines esports.

Yip Ren Kai, Co-Founder and Managing Director at Redd+E, said: "This partnership takes a significant step towards unlocking additional revenue streams for esports IP owners. We’re excited to help lead that evolution together with MOONTON Games. MLBB is one of the most culturally significant and widely followed esports titles in the world, and we see tremendous potential in establishing a broadcast rights model that reflects that scale. By connecting MLBB with broadcasters and media partners across Southeast Asia, we are driving new commercial pathways that will enhance sustainability, audience growth, and long-term value for the entire ecosystem."

Adrian Cher, Global Head of Partnerships, MLBB Esports, at MOONTON Games, said: "This partnership reinforces MLBB Esports' reputation as a world-class sports entertainment property. Working with Redd+E allows us to create a stronger, more sustainable broadcast ecosystem—one that delivers commercial value to our media partners while ensuring our millions of fans around the world can experience the thrill of MLBB Esports at the highest production standards. With Redd+E, MLBB Esports content will now be more discoverable, more accessible, and more valuable to broadcasters, sponsors, and fans alike."

MLBB continues to capture record-breaking audiences and mainstream attention worldwide; MLBB Esports amassed 475 million hours watched in 2024, placing it alongside the biggest names in global sports entertainment, according to Esports Charts. World leaders have also expressed support for MLBB, with government officials at the Esports World Cup (EWC) lauding the game as a catalyst for national growth and for its ability to change lives for the better.

Adrian added: "This collaboration represents the first step toward a larger vision for MLBB Esports—one where it is as accessible and commercially compelling to partners as any global sport. With more than 1.5 billion installations and 110 million active monthly users worldwide, MLBB has huge potential to scale this broadcast framework into other regions where MLBB has thriving communities, from the Middle East to Europe to Latin America and beyond. The future of MLBB Esports lies in building bridges across regions, and this partnership is our blueprint for that expansion."
