Team Spirit have been crowned Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Continental Championships (MCC) Season 7 champions, securing a historic seventh consecutive league title! The season also celebrates a new international contender in Verso Time, whose second-place finish secured the team's first international qualification. This breakthrough will see a new MCC representative compete on the global stage at the Mid Season Cup (MSC) at the 2026 Esports World Cup (EWC).

MCC Season 7 reflected the continued growth of the Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) ecosystem. Verso Time's qualification marks the emergence of a new international representative for the region, showcasing the expanding pool of talent capable of competing at the highest level. Meanwhile, Team Spirit (under the Deus Vult banner) continued to set the benchmark for excellence—with their seventh consecutive title cementing their status as one of the most dominant teams in MLBB Esports history. These milestones reinforce MCC as a platform for strengthening EECA's standing within the global esports landscape.

MCC's rewritten competitive landscape

Earlier this year, MOONTON Games unveiled its five-region MLBB Esports structure spanning Southeast Asia (SEA), Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), East Asia (EA), and the Americas (AMER). The framework was designed to unify the global MLBB Esports ecosystem while providing each region with the infrastructure and talent development pathways needed to cultivate its own competitive ecosystem.

Within that structure, EECA has continued to strengthen its reputation as MLBB Esports' most competitive emerging region. Team Spirit entered the season with renewed ambitions, adding Zaur "zaur egoist" Magomadov (Jungler) to their seasoned roster. The league's competitive landscape was also reshaped by a new wave of challengers. Team Yandex, the esports division of one of the region's largest technology companies, entered the season alongside Aura Farmers, who qualified for the Regular Season through Team Spirit Academy Black. Their arrival reflects the growing depth of the EECA ecosystem, where established organisations are now joined by academy teams and new investment.

Ajay Jilka, Head of Esports - Eastern Europe & Central Asia, Türkiye, and Western Europe at MOONTON Games, said: "MCC Season 7 reflects the progress EECA has made as a competitive ecosystem. Team Spirit's continued success highlights the quality that exists at the top, while Verso Time's breakthrough qualification demonstrates that new contenders are emerging and challenging established expectations. As part of MOONTON Games' five-region blueprint, our goal is to create sustainable ecosystems that strengthen regional competition. EECA's ability to produce both established champions and new international representatives is exactly the kind of growth the regional structure was designed to support. I'm excited to see both teams compete on the international stage."

The journey to the international stage begins

Under the "Two Champions, One Game" banner, MLBB returns to EWC for the third consecutive year as it continues to establish itself as one of the event's mainstay esports titles. According to Esports Charts, EWC 25 delivered record-breaking viewership across both MLBB tournaments. MSC emerged as the most-watched tournament in the event's history and the first to surpass 3 million Peak Concurrent Viewers (PCV). Meanwhile, MWI delivered its strongest performance to date, reaching 496,995 PCV. It also became the first women's tournament in history to surpass 100,000 Average Concurrent Viewers (ACV).

In Türkiye, Aurora Gaming completed a historic three-peat in the MLBB Türkiye Championship (MTC) after defeating FUT Esports 4-2 in the Season 7 Grand Finals. The victory secured Aurora Gaming a place in the MSC at EWC 2026 Main Stage, while the runners-up, FUT Esports, advanced to the Wild Card stage.

In Singapore, Ignite Gaming booked their place in the MSC at EWC 2026 Main Stage after being crowned MPL Singapore Season 11 champions. The team mounted a fierce comeback to defeat Season 10 champions, Team EVIL, 4-3 in the Grand Finals.
