The stage is set for a concert across time as Magic Chess: Go Go (MCGG) Season 7: "Chrono Echoes" is now live! Bringing echoes from past seasons back onto the battlefield while introducing new gameplay additions, Season 7 debuts four new Synergies and puts Alpha in the spotlight as MCGG's first-ever 7-Gold Hero. The journey continues on the new "Starbeat Stage" Magical Chessboard, where the "Chrono Echoes" theme song accompanies every battle!

New headliners emerge, old favourites return 

Four new Synergies take the stage in Season 7, each bringing a different twist to the battlefield.

Echomancer will turn back the clock by summoning a random 5-cost Hero from a past season to assist players in battle. Raise the curtain on a new level of power with SPECTRE. Combine and upgrade SPECTRE Heroes to progress through the Synergy and eventually unlock Alpha, MCGG's first-ever 7-Gold Hero.

Meanwhile, Starbelle brings spectacle of the "Chrono Echoes" concert directly onto the chessboard. Equip a Hero with a special Lightstick to turn them into a "Fan", allowing them to share bonuses with Starbelle Heroes. Once the Synergy is activated, the battlefield transforms with exclusive music and audio-visual effects. Changing the tempo is Mistbender, which lets players collect tokens throughout battle and spend them in a special Shop. Through additional Equipment and Hero buffs, players can find more ways to adjust and strengthen their lineup as the match unfolds. In addition, fan-favourite Synergies from Seasons 1 and 2, Dragon Altar and Shadeweaver, return to bring a nostalgic twist to Season 7 gameplay.

With that, we're bringing back familiar elements in new forms, while introducing new gameplay elements—all wrapped in a concert-inspired season that celebrates everything new coming to MCGG. With every update, we want players to feel at home when they return, but still have plenty to discover once they start playing."

Franco takes the spotlight alongside new Commanders

New Commanders will join MCGG throughout Season 7, starting with Franco on 21 August, followed by Lylia and Brody in September, and Lukas in October. Franco brings his signature Iron Hook onto the chessboard, targeting a random enemy to steal Loot. Upgrade Franco during battle for the chance to reel in a powerful 5-Gold Hero.

His hook will also feature in Stellar Resonance, a seasonal event from 21 August to 20 September. Players can put Franco's signature skill to use and fish for treasures lost across the sea of stars and reel in new collectibles.
