The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Professional League Philippines (MPL PH) Season 18 Playoffs will take centre stage at PhilSports Arena in Pasig City, from 21-25 October 2026. This marks a defining moment for Philippine esports as the country's leading professional mobile esports league brings its biggest matches to one of the nation's most recognised sporting venues.
The MPL PH Season 18 Playoffs will determine the Philippine teams that will represent the country at the M8 World Championship (M8), set to take place in Istanbul, Türkiye, in January 2027.
MPL Philippines' move to PhilSports Arena comes as MLBB celebrates its 10th anniversary—marking a decade of growth from a global gaming phenomenon into a competitive ecosystem with more than 1.5 billion installations and 110 million monthly active users worldwide.
Hosting the Season 18 Playoffs at PhilSports Arena places MLBB Esports within the country's wider sporting landscape, reflecting MPL Philippines' continued growth as a professional competition and live entertainment platform.
Managed by the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), the PhilSports Arena has hosted some of the biggest international sporting events over the years. This includes the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix in 2000, the Southeast Asian Games in 2005 and 2019, and the FIBA Asia Champions Cup in 2011.
