Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) marked its 10th anniversary with simultaneous celebrations across 10 countries from 9 to 11 October, drawing tens of thousands of fans to events spanning Asia, Europe, and Latin America. Held under the theme "ALL IN MLBB", the celebrations brought MLBB's heroes, communities, and culture to life, marking a decade of growth shaped by its players.
The celebrations featured city parades, themed railway stations, live performances, cosplay showcases, and larger-than-life interactive installations. Beyond the festivities, members of MOONTON Games' management and MLBB development teams met with local players to hear their feedback on gameplay, community engagement, and future content, reinforcing the role of players in shaping MLBB's next chapter.

Since its launch in 2016, MLBB has grown into one of the world's most popular mobile games, recording over 1.5 billion installations and 110 million Monthly Active Users (MAU) worldwide. Its esports ecosystem has also reached major international stages in 2026, including the International Olympic Committee-sanctioned Asian Games and MSC's European debut at EWC 2026 in Paris. Looking ahead, the M8 World Championship Finals in Istanbul, Türkiye, will mark the M Series' historic European debut, bringing the pinnacle of MLBB Esports to the continent for the first time.
Bringing the world of MLBB to life across three continents
Each market brought its own interpretation of the anniversary celebrations, combining recognisable elements of MLBB with local culture, entertainment, and community activities.
In Indonesia, an eight-metre-tall "Lord" sculpture brought one of MLBB's most iconic in-game elements to life. Beyond the celebrations, Surabaya provided an opportunity for MOONTON Games' management and MLBB development team to connect directly with Indonesian players, hear their stories, and recognise the community's role in shaping MLBB over the past decade.
In the Philippines, fans experienced Filipino culture through a special performance paying tribute to the country’s vibrant dance traditions and activities such as #LibreNiMLBB (Free food from MLBB), inspired by the Filipino tradition of treating loved ones and friends to food.
In Malaysia, #Karnival10BersamaMLBB (10th Anniversary Carnival with MLBB) celebrated how MLBB has become part of Malaysian culture. Highlights included 133 cosplayers representing every MLBB hero, live performances by local artists, fun matches with esports champions, and awards recognising local content creators, reflecting the game's role in connecting communities and nurturing local talent.
In Türkiye, an MLBB-themed yacht sailed through the Bosphorus Strait, with Istanbul's iconic skyline providing a striking backdrop for the 10th anniversary celebrations. Connecting Europe and Asia, the city symbolised MLBB's journey from its Southeast Asian roots to a global game, reflecting its growing influence in Türkiye and Eastern Europe.
In Thailand, Bangkok's famous Dan Neramit Night Market was transformed into an MLBB 10th anniversary-themed party, with an eight-metre-tall birthday cake becoming one of the venue's biggest attractions. Beyond serving as a photo backdrop, the giant installation featured an interactive capsule toy machine, allowing fans to engage with the celebration through a hands-on experience.
In India, the celebrations transformed Howrah Station, one of the country's oldest and largest railway stations, with MLBB's 10th anniversary decorations and a dedicated Platform 10 inspired by Layla. A specially decorated anniversary train also travelled from Kolkata to Puri, extending the festivities to more cities and communities.
In Peru, Jockey Plaza brought MLBB's "Canyon in Hand" to life, featuring real-world installations of the "Lord" and turrets for the first time. Fans could also take part in an interactive challenge, bringing the game's iconic battlefield experience into the real world.
In Myanmar, celebrations centred on national hero, Maik Sitthal, with nearly 50 cosplayers joining a themed parade. The festivities also extended to city landmarks, including a giant LED screen on the facade of Times City.
Celebrations in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) region embraced the theme “Cheer All the Way to Victory”, bringing players together through social gatherings and shared gaming experiences to mark MLBB's 10th anniversary.
In Vietnam, an All-Star Showmatch brought together leading gaming influencers, players, and commentators, with live broadcasts reaching audiences both online and on-site, extending the celebrations beyond the event venue.
